The Regional Transit Coordinating Council (RTCC) began meeting in 2010 and is open to area transit service providers, human service providers, government entities, and other interested persons committed to regional transit services improvement in the region. The RTCC promotes cooperation and collaboration between the transportation industry sectors, both public, private, and nonprofit.

The RTC is currently meeting quarterly. The RTC also provides one representative to the Southwest Transportation Planning Region (SWTPR).
